Stream the New Foreign Exchange

Leave It All Behind, the sophomore LP from The Foreign Exchange (Phonte of Little Brother with Wilmington-based producer Nicolay), recently went on sale digitally on iTunes, but it's streaming for free on Myspace. The 2xCD version of the album is available Tuesday, and a deluxe vinyl edition is on the horizon as well.

Rapper Big Pooh, half of the acclaimed Durham hip-hop duo Little Brother, has released a solo mixtape entitled Rapper's Delight as a free download.

Fittingly, the mixtape's title track finds Pooh, along with Hall of Justus compatriot Chaundon, copping a sample from the Sugar Hill Gang classic, and giving it a fresh Carolina twist.

Production credits go to, among others, 9th Wonder, Khrysis and the late J Dilla. The mixtape also features guest spots from Joe Scudda, Naledge and Talib Kweli.
